Our hotel operator, ADH – ATELIER de Hoteles, is part of The Code, an initiative driven by the tourism industry to raise awareness and provide tools to prevent the sexual exploitation and trafficking of children and adolescents. Through this program, we establish actions and protocols that help us identify potential victims of abuse within our resorts.
ATELIER Playa Mujeres is a resort committed to environmental protection and sustainable development and has been awarded the Blue Flag certification, an international distinction that recognizes beaches meeting strict environmental criteria, including Environmental Education and Information, Water Quality, Environmental Management, Safety, and Services.
We work to raise awareness among our guests and Arteleros regarding beach care. On a monthly basis, through ADH – ATELIER de Hoteles, we conduct cleanup initiatives aimed at fostering a profitable and responsible tourism model that supports ocean conservation.
Our resort ÓLEO Cancún Playa is located in a preferred nesting area for marine turtles. For this reason, it participates in the Marine Turtle Protection and Conservation Program, in collaboration with the General Directorate of Ecology of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo, and under the guidelines of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT).
